Terms of Service

By installing or using Reskin (the "extension"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't install or use it. These terms apply to the free tier and to the one-time Pro unlock alike.

Reskin is a browser extension that applies visual themes and custom styles to YouTube. It changes how the page looks in your own browser. It does not modify YouTube's servers, your account, or the content you watch, and it does not interfere with how YouTube's own features function beyond presentation.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Reskin for its intended purpose. The free tier is available at no cost. The Pro unlock is a one-time purchase that enables the additional features described at the time of sale — there is no subscription and no recurring charge.

You may use Pro on your own devices. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the extension or your Pro license, and you may not attempt to circumvent the license check or unlock Pro features without purchasing.

Pro is sold through a third-party payment processor. We never see or store your card details. The price shown at checkout is the full and final amount for a perpetual license, including any themes we ship in the future.

If something isn't right with your purchase, contact us through the support link and we'll work with you. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis and in line with the policies of the payment processor and applicable consumer law.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the extension except where that right cannot be restricted by law.
• Use Reskin to violate YouTube's or Google's terms of service, or any applicable law.
• Redistribute, repackage, or sell the extension or any part of it.

Reskin, its themes, name, and branding are owned by us. Your purchase grants a license to use the extension — it does not transfer ownership of any part of it. Themes you create from the custom CSS editor are yours to keep and use within the extension.

Reskin is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Because the extension styles a third-party site, changes YouTube makes to its own pages may affect how some themes render. We work to keep things looking right, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted compatibility.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Reskin. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the extension, if any. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Reskin is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, Google, or any of their subsidiaries. "YouTube" and related marks belong to their respective owners and are used here only to describe what the extension works with.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we do, we'll revise the date below and note significant changes in the extension's changelog. Continuing to use Reskin after an update means you accept the revised terms.
